The Bartlesville Police Department is actively participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. Officers began saturated patrol this past weekend and will continue through Monday, September 1st. According to Police Captain Jay Hastings, the special patrols are designed to locate drivers that are violating law such as, DUI-alcohol or drugs, Public Intoxication, Transporting an Open Container, Felony/Misdemeanor arrests, stolen vehicles, and Actual Physical Control of a motor vehicle.

The Police Department is also coordinating “Safety Check Points” which will also run from now through the Labor Day Holiday. The Police Department is asking for your patience during these “Safety Check Points”.  The Police department wishes you a safe and happy Holiday weekend, but remember, DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER.
