Distracted Driving Accident

A distracted driver was the cause of an accident a the intersection of highway 75 and Tuxedo Boulevard Friday morning. According to Bartlesville Police, the driver of an SUV was focused on the vehicle's GPS, missing a red light. As the SUV entered the intersection, a pickup truck struck the SUV on the side, causing it to roll over. The driver and an adult passenger of the SUV were transported via ambulance to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries while at least two juvenile passengers seemed to be mostly unhurt. The driver of the truck appeared to be uninjured and was seen to be standing outside his truck. The accident closed the intersection at highway 75 and Tuxedo for almost an hour.
