Two Dewey residents were arraigned before Special Judge Kyra Williams Wednesday on various drug violations. 52 year old Bradley Wade Smith and 57 year old Betty Louise Ratliff both appeared before Special Judge Williams, Smith on charges of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and intent to distribute a CDS, possession of a CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia, Ratliff appeared on charges of possession of a CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to a court affidavit, upon serving a warrant on a home in Dewey officers found a bag of meth, two white folded coffee filter papers with meth, three glass smoking pipes with residue and a set of digital scales. Both Ratliff and Smith will appear August 15th before Judge Vaclaw.
