The Bartlesville City Council spent most of Monday night's meeting hearing presentations on the history and development of previous park studies and park development master plans approved by previous city councils.  Interim Park and Recreation Director Lisa Beeman went over park plans dating back in the 1970's through today.  Many of the projects have been accomplished but some have not.  Bartlesville residents were asked from 2004-2009 what were the needs for parks and athletic fields.  Beeman explained what projects were done.  Beeman talked about upcoming future projects.  The funding was approved by voters that goes specifically towards the projects.  The City Council voted to receive the presentation.  In other action, the City Council passed an ordinance to create TIF District number nine for the development of the Bison Trails Apartments.  No one participated in the second public hearing that was required.
