For the 12th year running, Bartlesville's White Rose Cemetery hosted a Memorial Day Service. State Representative Earl Sears opened the ceremonies with a prayer thanking God for those who serve, have served and will serve and asked that He help us to never forget them. Bill Teal from the American Legion spoke about the flag and the meaning behind the folds of the flag before a 21 gun salute honored those who gave all in service of their country. Speaking after the event, Kim Inman, organizer of the event, says its important to remember our veterans.
