Pawhuska Graduation

Each year in late May, nearly 1,000 local residents gather at Ormand Beach Stadium to pay tribute to Pawhuska High School's latest crop of graduating seniors during commencement ceremonies.  This year was no different as a standing room only crowd packed into the football stadium to watch their sons and daughters, grandchildren and friends walk across stage to receive their high school diplomas.  A batch of 59 new bright-eyed and eager future leaders put to an end their high school careers during Friday night's graduation ceremony, each looking forward to the next phase of their lives — whether that is college, trade school, military service or a career in the "real world."  Co-Valedictorians Kylar Moody and Carlie Culver spoke to their fellow classmates about the times they had together while working through to their senior years, and encouraged them all to make the most of their futures while not ever forgetting their past and time spent growing up in Pawhuska and attending the Pawhuska school system.
