Rovenstine into TOC HOF
A former Bartlesville Bruin earned a spot in the Tournament of Champions Hall of Fame over the weekend.
Ben Rovenstine, who was a Bruin in the early to mid-2000s was enshrined thanks to his play on multiple outstanding Bartlesville teams. BHS won the tournament in 2003 under Rovenstine’s guidance.
He was also a big part of other Bartlesville teams that performed well at the Maybee Center in one of the state’s most historic high school basketball events.
The 2004-05 Bruin squad will also be one of the most remembered, after losing only three times all year, one of them to Edmond Santa Fe in the 6A state final 40-37.
