Oklahoma Wesleyan’s historic 2017 season is still garnering attention nationwide.

Eagle Will Price was named the American Baseball Coaches Association NAIA Player of the Year on Wednesday.

Price hit .460 with 28 home runs and 101 RBIs in 2017. The ABCA picks a player of the year for every division of college baseball. Price, an outfielder, was a first-team All-American in the NAIA.

This is the second OKWU baseball player to win a player of the year honor, as Chris Tapia was named National Player by the NAIA earlier in June.
