Pokes-Miami Set for Cheez-It Bowl

Oklahoma State football will take center stage on Tuesday night in the Cheez-IT bowl in Orlando.

The Pokes face Miami for the first time in nearly 30 years.

With a win, OK-State can notch its eighth victory of the season, something only 14 other teams have done thus far in this COVID-19 shortened season.

The Cowboys did not arrive in Orlando until Monday. A usual three-week practice period for a bowl game changed into less than a week because of the Christmas holiday.

Head coach Mike Gundy says having his players go home for the holidays was worth the shortened schedule.

OK-State is a 1-point favorite on Tuesday afternoon. A 4:30 kick with a 2:30 pregame.

We will carry that contest in its entirety on Sports Talk 99.1 FM and 1500 AM – KPGM. The play-by-play broadcast will be joined in progress after the 5:00 news on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
