Pannell to Help Indian's and Bruins

Big news came out late last week, as the Doenges Ford Indians will have a new leader for the first time in nearly a decade.

John Pannell, a former Indian’s manager and the head of the Glen Winget Tournament, will be taking his former post.

Pannell will help bridge the game between Bartlesville High baseball and the Indian’s summer program, as he is going to serve as an assistant for the Bruins this spring under first-year head coach Cody Price. Pannell says that he has met Price, and is excited about what he can bring to baseball in the community.

Pannell’s addition to both the Indian’s and Bruins should help with numbers of players out for the summer club.

The Indian’s had only 10 or 11 everyday players this past summer, with only one varsity Bartlesville Bruin on the roster in Alan Covarrubias.
