OSU Keeps Schedule Intact - For Now

Oklahoma State is still set to play 11 of its 12 scheduled football games, as the Pokes are still searching for their season opener for late-August or early-September.

The Pokes contest against Oregon State was nixed when the Pac-12 decided to cancel its non-conference football games earlier this month.

There was some though that OK-State might lose its second game of the year, against FCS Western Illinois. Many FCS conferences have forgone fall sports altogether.

However, the Missouri Valley Football Conference announced yesterday that it intends on playing its football schedule as normal, which keeps 11 games on the books for Oklahoma State. Western Illinois is scheduled to visit Stillwater on Sept. 19.

The Cowboys, nor their in-state counterparts in OU, have yet to reach out to season ticket holders to talk about their plans for fans in the stands this fall
