Oklahoma Wesleyan’s Drenis Ozuna appears to have finished a stint playing the Cape Cod Collegiate Baseball League. Ozuna played in 11 games for the Chatham Anglers in top college summer league in the nation. The outfielder is no longer listed on the Anglers roster. Ozuna played his last game on June 26.

Ozuna finished with five hits in 26 at-bats, three of which were doubles. The Eagles top returning player was met with stern completion competing against some of the top college players in the nation. It is common for players to appear for just a few weeks in summer league such as this. Ozuna put himself in front of several professional scouts in his two-week stint. The rising-senior has potential to become the first OKWU player selected in the Major League Baseball Draft next June.

Ozuna was named an NAIA All-American for his performance during the 2019 season for OKWU. He hit .437 with 22 home runs and 13 doubles.
