The quest of advancing to the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship game came up short Saturday afternoon at Point Lookout, Missouri as OKWU Lady Eagles ranked 15th in the NAIA lost 83-73 to 14th ranked College of the Ozarks.  OKWU never led in the game, but kept the contest close. Too many turnovers for the Lady Eagles were a factor in the loss, but out rebounded the Bobcats 36-32.  OKWU committed 20 turnovers.  Nichole Tate led OKWU with 19 points while Shelby Graham added 14 points.  College of the Ozarks were led by Kayla Kepler with a game high 22 points.  As a team, OKWU shot 45 percent from the field and shot 33 percent from the 3-point line (9 for 27).

The Lady Eagles are now 26-6 overall and will now wait to see who they will play in the upcoming NAIA Division II Womens National Tournament.
