OKWU Fall Athletics Still a Possibility

The NAIA announced earlier this week that fall championships for men’s and women’s soccer, cross country and volleyball have been moved to Spring 2021. However, that doesn’t mean Oklahoma Wesleyan will not play athletic competitions in the fall. OKWU athletic director Kirk Kelley hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a split schedule between the fall and spring.

Kelley says the NAIA has left the scheduling up to individual conferences. The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference will hold a task force meeting on Thursday where all athletic directors will go over a final plan. An announcement on fall scheduling is expected by the end of the week.
