OKWU Baseball is rounding out their regular season with only two series left on the schedule. The Eagles are coming off a series win over McPherson last week that saw OKWU take two out of three contests against the Bulldogs.

Wesleyan now sits at 31-13 on the season and 25-5 in conference play. With just six games left in the regular season the Eagles have put themselves in a good spot to be a top seed in the KCAC conference tournament. Firstly, they’ve got to get past the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes this weekend before having to end the season at Ottawa.

Eagle Skipper Kirk Kelly shared what his message was to his team heading into this final tough stretch.

Eagles and Coyotes will battle on Friday and Saturday this weekend in Salina. More to come on this story later in the week.
