Oklahoma Wesleyan Opens up Baseball Regional

Five teams are vying for a shot at the NAIA World Series this week in Bartlesville, as the Oklahoma Wesleyan NAIA Baseball Regional begins on Monday at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

The five-team double elimination tournament kicks off Monday morning with a play-in game between Midland, Nebraska and St. Ambrose, Iowa at 11:00 .

Oklahoma Wesleyan will open up postseason play against the winner of the play-in game at 6:00 PM in game we will broadcast on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.

Eagle head baseball coach Matt Parker wants to see people at Bill Doenges this week.

The other game on Monday will feature Indiana Tech against Bryan, Tennessee at 2:30.

KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3 along with Sports Talk 1500 AM and 99.1 FM - KPGM will carry all the Eagle's games this week in the regional

OKWU is 48-9. The Eagles enter the tournament on a seven-game winning streak, and are a top-three team in the country. They are coming off a KCAC Tournament championship.
