Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles Softball team's 11-game winning streak came to an end Thursday afternoon as top ranked Oklahoma City University swept OKWU 6-0 and 9-0.  The Lady Stars are unbeaten at 40-0 and ranked number one in the NAIA poll.

In the first game, OCU scored three of their six runs in the top of the fifth to end OKWU's winning streak. The Lady Eagles managed just four hits and committed six errors.  Ashleigh Capps took the loss giving up six runs on 10 hits and struck out three.  Michaela Shouldis went 2 for 3.

Not much different in the second game as OCU scored five of their nine runs in the top of the sixth to run-rule OKWU.  The Lady Eagles committed three errors and only had three hits.  Makayla Kelly took the loss giving up four runs on seven hits in five innings of work.

The Lady Eagles are now 19-16 overall and will try to get back on the winning side this Saturday at Friends University for a 1 o'clock double header start.
