Nowata To Face Adair In Area Tournament
The Nowata Ironmen are three games away from making the Class 3A State Tournament, but first, Nowata will face Adair in the first round of the Area Tournament at Cleveland this afternoon. Adair is 16-10 overall and coming off a win over Salina last Saturday. Meanwhile, the 19th ranked Ironmen are coming off a tough loss at Verdigris last Saturday in the Regional Finals in overtime by the score of 78-76. Nowata is 16-8 overall this season. Game time is 3 o'clock. You can hear this afternoon's game on Sports Talk 1500 AM and 99.1 FM KPGM starting at 2:50. The winner will play Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock against the winner of Sperry/Lincoln Christian game.
