Indians Eye Arkansas Tourney

Two days away from the Doenges Ford Indians getting back to regular season action.

Bartlesville has not played a game that has counted in just over a week. The Indians will play a minimum of four games this weekend at the Mickey Huskey Lockeroom Twin Lakes Classic, taking place in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

These tournaments are a perfect time for the Tribe to showcase its pitching depth. The Indians have a much more consistent group of starters than in years past. A perfect example was the Branson tournament championship for the Tribe.

Bartlesville won the event without ace Jakob Hall pitching an inning, Hall spent some of the weekend at the All-State games in Enid.

Manager John Pannell says his staff runs deep.

After 11 games Bartlesville has eight different pitchers with an ERA lower than 3.50. The Indians are 9-2 on the summer. More on the upcoming trip to the Natural State later on this week.
