Huge Game for OKWU Men on Monday

Monday marks what is likely the biggest game of the season for the Oklahoma Wesleyan men, and will likely have a bigtime effect on the KCAC title.

OKWU will host Southwestern College in a top-15 matchup of NAIA men's teams. The Eagle men are 17-0 and No. 3 in the country. They handled Ottawa 83-66 on Saturday afternoon in their second game out of Christmas.

Southwestern appears to be the biggest hurdle for the Eagles as far as their Kansas Colligate Athletic Conference title hopes go. The Moundbuilders are 14-1 overall, ranked at No. 12 in the country. Their only loss was in conference play to Friends – 82-76 at home back on Dec. 5.

OKWU beat Southwestern last year in the finals of the KCAC tournament to punch their ticket to the NAIA National Tournament. The teams split their two regular season meetings last year.

Men will tip around 7:30 PM, with the women starting at 5:30 PM from the Mueller Sports Center in Bartlesville.

We will have both those games on Sports Talk 99.1 FM – KPGM. Also available online at BartlesvilleRadio.com and the Bartlesville Radio App.
