Hailey Tucker Earns GAC Honors
Just two days before former Lady Bruin Hailey Tucker returns to Bruin Fieldhouse for the Great American Conference Tournament, she picked up some major hardware.
Tucker was named GAC Freshman of the Year and was also named to the GAC All-Conference First-Team.
Tucker averaged 14.9 PPG starting for Southwestern Oklahoma State University this year. She is also one of the leaders among freshman in the entire NCAA in long range shooting. Tucker's 75 three-pointers ranks second in D II.
Her Bulldogs play their first game in the women's GAC Tournament at noon on Friday at Bruin Fieldhouse. The entire tournament runs through Sunday at Bartlesville High School.
