Several former Bartlesville High basketball players continue to play at the next level, here is a Winter Break look at where some college Bruins and Lady Bruins are – and how they are doing.

Former BHS standout Jena’ Williams is playing significant minutes as a true freshman at the University of Nevada. Williams has played in 10 of the 12 games thus far, and has logged as many as 35 minutes in a single game.

Williams has scored in seven straight, with a season-high seven points. She scored six points on Saturday in a 71-40 win over Cal Poly, Williams went 2-2 from beyond the arc.

Meanwhile on the guy’s side, two former Bruins have teamed up at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkowa to continue their careers. Barron Tanner and Andrew Gronigan are playing major roles at NOC.

Tanner has played in all 15 games for the Mavericks, starting four. He is averaging 19 minutes a game, and 9.2 points per game off the bench.

Gronigan has played in seven of the 15 games, and is shooting 56-percent from three in limited action. Gronigan was a 2108 BHS graduate. Tanner graduated in 2017. Williams was a 2019 Lady Bruin grad.
