The final week of the regular season is here and not much has been decided in terms of the postseason for Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball. The Eagles could finish up anywhere between first and seventh place in the Kansas Collegiate Conference standings. OKWU head coach Donnie Bostwick believes his team is worthy of making its third consecutive national tournament appearance.

The Eagles square off with Bethel College on Wednesday. The Threshers are one of five KCAC squads with at least 19 wins on the year. OKWU beat Bethel on the road 78-64 on Jan. 8.

The Lady Eagles are coming off one of the team’s best victories of the season. OKWU defeated Tabor 69-64 on Saturday to hold its sixth place spot in the KCAC. The Lady Eagles will also be facing direct competition as Bethel sits just one game behind them in the standings. OKWU is also seeking revenge after falling to the Lady Threshers after a last second foul cost them the game back in January.

Tipoff for the final home doubleheader of the season is set for 6 p.m. from the Mueller Sports Center in Bartlesville. Radio coverage can be heard on Sportstalk 99.1 FM KPGM.
