The Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball teams return to the floor on Wednesday. OKWU will head to Kansas Wesleyan University as it makes its third road trip north of Wichita in the last two weeks.

The Lady Eagles will play the team directly ahead of them in the conference standings. OKWU is currently seventh in the league with an 8-6 record while KWU is 9-5 overall. The Lady Eagles beat the Lady Coyotes 69-90 in the first meeting—their best win to date. A win could put Wesleyan back in the conversation four a potential top four seed.

The fifth-ranked men’s team will look rebound from a somewhat lackluster performance at Tabor in narrow win last Thursday. The Eagles gave up 10+ three pointers to the opposition for the second time in the last three games. Eagles head coach Donnie Bostwick says defense remains the strength of this team.

Tipoff from the Mabee Fieldhouse in Salina, Kansas is set for 6 p.m. for the doubleheader. Radio coverage can be heard on Sportstalk 99.1 FM KPGM.
