The Hornets lost to Burlington 59-42 on Saturday in their Class B Regional Consolation Bracket title game. Copan ends the year at 9-16 against a tough schedule.

The Hornets won two playoff games, more than expected for a group that was mostly new to the varsity level in 2018. Copan had only two seniors on this year’s club, Sam Lannan and Colt Raemhild. Here is Hornet head coach Kevin Foreman.

Copan will return three of their five starters, including Garrick Askew, who averaged 18 rebounds a game this past season. Aaron Hunt, Dalton King, Colt Brizendine, Wyatt Davis and other will be counted on for the Hornets next year.
