The Bruins played in windy conditions down in Owasso at Bailey Ranch for the Regionals on Monday afternoon.

BHS qualified one golfer for 6A State, Carson Rainbolt did good enough to move on to the next round. Rainbolt shot a 36-hole score of 162. That was highlighted by an opening round 79. No other Bruin had a round under 80 in the event.

As a team BHS shot 678, which was about 25-30 shots over what they needed as a team to qualify. In the heat and wind, 36 holes of golf can be taxing. Here is Bartlesville head boys golf coach Jeff Rude.

Rainbolt represent Bartlesville at 6A Boys State next week at Forest Ridge golf course in Broken Arrow.
