Bruins Will Try to Slow Sandites Running Attack

We have a full schedule of high school football on the second-to-last regular season Friday in the area.

In Bartlesville, the Bruins will have another tough task at Sand Springs. Despite losing on Oct. 19 – BHS feels that it has some momentum coming off a win against Sapulpa and a good showing against Bixby last week. Sand Springs will run the football on Friday evening – as the Sandites have one of the best running backs in the state in Payton Scott. Here is Bartlesville head football coach Kyle Ppool.

Scott is averaging more than 30 carries a game and 206 yards per contest.

If Bartlesville could win on Friday, the Bruins would have a decent shot at making the 6A-II playoffs if they got some help.

Bartlesville and Sand Springs kicks at 7:00 on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
