Bartlesville High baseball begins a two-game District series with Tahlequah on Monday afternoon.

BHS is slated to be at Tahlequah this afternoon, with the Tiger’s coming to Bartlesville tomorrow. The Bruins are coming off a 3-1 road trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama last week.

Early on it has been pitching carrying the way for Bartlesville. The Bruins are only hitting .267 as a team with 12 extra base hits through nine games. Meanwhile the pitching staff has held down a 3.32 ERA in that same span.

Junior and cemented District starter Brenden Asher has been the top-starter again, but there are several other solid options on the mound, too.

Luke Fox made his first District start on the bump during Bartlesville’s first District series two weeks ago.

Bruin head coach Cody Price talks about Fox’s pitching progress and Bartlesville’s depth.

Bartlesville is 5-4 overall. A 5:00 first pitch in Tahlequah on Monday evening.

The Bruins second game of the series on Tuesday night will be our first KWON and KWONTV.com broadcast of the season.
