Bruin Soccer to Host Hype Night

Spring sports are just around the corner, as tennis, golf, track and field, baseball and soccer will begin their seasons before you know it.

At Bartlesville High, there is a lot of buzz around the Bruin soccer program, as head coach Anthony Tucker takes the helm on the guy’s side. Tucker, a former Bruin player, has brought energy and renewed focus since his hiring this past summer.

BHS soccer will hold a hype night for the first time, which will be on Monday at Bartlesville High. Tucker talks about some of the activities the squads will hold to get people in the community primed for the season.

Just like the Bartlesville basketball teams, both the girl’s and boy’s teams will be on hand for the event, which will include numerous giveaways, and soccer related competitions for future Bruins.

We are still about three or four weeks away from actual events, with scrimmages on the horizon for both soccer clubs, and Tucker says the progress of his squad has been encouraging.
