Bruin Basketball Set for Lighter Week
Both the Bartlesville High basketball teams only played two of their three games scheduled this weekend in the ConocoPhillips Arvest Invitational, as snow struck the area and canceled the final day of the event on Saturday.
BHS elected to nix the final day of the tournament after consulting with other schools, as some were unwilling to stay during the storm that dumped nearly three inches of snow and some ice across the tri-county area.
The BHS girls went 1-1, while the Bruin guys finished 0-2. Both clubs will be off on Tuesday, but back in action once again on Friday for a special one. Owasso will visit the old Phillips Field House for Throwback night.
The Lady Bruins are 4-5, while the Bruin guys are 1-9 as the midway point of the season is quickly approaching.
