Bruin Basketball Practice Underway
High school basketball is just around the corner, the Bartlesville High Bruins have been practicing for nearly three weeks.
Clent Stewart is back for his fourth season coaching the BHS boy’s squad. The Bruins return three of their starters from this past season, along with most of their major bench minutes.
Despite losing their top two scorers in AJ Archambo and Barron Tanner, Stewart is excited for the 2017-2018 campaign.
Jake Bilger, Andrew Gronigan, Caleb Colbert, Tayo Dina and Shane Simpson are the main returners this winter.
The first game action for Bartlesville will be in a scrimmage at Inola on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
Tom Beard and DeAndre Young are the only Bruins who are still playing football, the rest have been in practice with Stewart since the beginning of October.
