Bruin Baseball at PC West on Monday

Bartlesville High baseball went 2-0 during its time in Coweta over the weekend, as the Bruins blew out some lower classification teams getting set for a District series with PC West this week.

Bartlesville thumped Bristow 14-5 on Saturday morning for its final win in the event. BHS showed patience offensively, as the club walked 15 times in the victory.

Jakob Hall continued his tear at the plate. He went 2-3 with three RBIs while hitting his fourth home run of the season. Hall is now hitting .500 on the year through 22 games.

He has gone 33-66 at the plate with eight doubles, three triples and four home runs. Head coach Cody Price says Hall’s success is nothing but a byproduct of his hard work.

Since March 23, Hall has gone 25-39 at the plate, which is a .641 average and has driven in 19 runs ovr the course of those 13 games.

The Bruins will take on a 2-24 PC West club on the road on Monday afternoon at 4:30 PM, BHS will host PC West on Tuesday night at 7:00.

Bartlesville is 15-7 on the season and 5-5 in District play.
