BHS Track and Field at Owasso
Bartlesville High track and field will have an important meet at Owasso on Friday, as BHS gets set for the final month of the regular season.
The Bruins will see basically a preview of the Frontier Valley Conference meet, as almost every conference foe will be on hand.
It will be a test for the main two Bartlesville high jumpers. Regan Hodge and Jensen Laws are two of the best in the state. Head coach David Ayers talks about the jumpers.
BHS also has a group of freshman girls who may be able to qualify for state in the 4X400. Campbell Barta, Peyton Pregler Lauren Shoesmith and Gentry Turner remind Ayers of a young group of runners who came through Bartlesville several years ago.
Regionals for 6A track and field are still weeks away on May 8 with state coming on May 15.
