BHS Tennis Results in Ponca Event
BHS Tennis had a pretty good day yesterday at their event on Tuesday. The girls finished fourth overall as a team along with Abby Shelley who placed fourth in the 1 singles. Ava Kelley nabbed third in the 2 singles. On the 1 doubles, Bella Gustafson and Julia McKissick grabbed fourth while Claire Auschwitz and Ava Craig finished fourth in 2 doubles.
On the guys side, they also finished fourth with Owen May leading the 1 singles and finishing fifth while Carson Covington finished sixth in the 2 singles. For the guys doubles, Will Bolding and Colmenero finished fifth in 1 doubles while Sebastian White and Cade Winter got the highest finish of the day at second in the 2 doubles.
Most of this BHS Tennis team is littered with underclassmen, but underclassmen with a lot of Tennis experience. Head Coach Bryan Reese talks about the youngsters.
