Bartlesville High baseball fell in another low-scoring affair on Monday evening in Stillwater.

The Pioneers beat Bartlesville 3-0 in game one of a two-game District set.

BHS was held to only one hit on the evening. The Bruins had only four base runners.

Despite the loss it was another great outing from sophomore Barrett Merciez. The youngster went the full six innings on the mound. He gave up three unearned runs on three hits. He struck out three and walked three.

Kaden Romesburg tallied the only BHS base knock.

Bartlesville is back to 3-3 on the year and will host Stillwater in game two of the District series on Tuesday night at 5:00 from beautiful Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
