Bennett Reflects on Rigdon's Final Run
Saturday was truly the end of an era for the Lady Bruin Track and Field Team.
Bartlesville High track and field wrapped up a successful 2018 campaign this past weekend at Yukon High school. BHS had two gold medals, both from senior Rilee Rigdon, who wrapped up her fantastic career as a Lady Bruin. Head coach Bon Bennett talks about the emotions of her final few races at BHS.
Rigdon will run collegiately at Oklahoma State University this fall. James Martinez, Nathan Lauritsen, Greta Olsen along with many others highlight a tremendous senior class at Bartlesville High for long distance running.
Bennett said that he is excited about a group of younger sprinters for the next few seasons, as there is a change of the guard in the BHS running community.
