Baseball Back for Bartlesville High

Bartlesville High baseball is back in action Friday night– finally after nine days off.

Ponca City comes to Bill Deonges Memorial Stadium for a 5:00 PM first pitch. Bartlesville was last in game action a week ago from Tuesday at Owasso. The Bruins had a double-header rained out against Moore on Tuesday. Bartlesville is 4-10-1on the year.

Offense has been hard to come by the last few outings against some of the best pitchers in the state. The Bruins have played back-to-back two game district series against Union and Owasso. Bartlesville head coach Spence Rigdon expects that the offense will turn around.

BHS played at Ponca to begin the season in early March so this is a return trip for the Wildcats. Ponca City won the first meeting, 6-5.

The Bruins will play a neutral site game against Har-Ber, Arkansas in Claremore tomorrow afternoon as well.
