Bartlesville Hoops Back vs. BA

Bartlesville High basketball is finally back in action on Tuesday evening – as Broken Arrow visits Bruin Field House for a Frontier Valley Conference double-header.

Both BHS clubs have not played a game since Dec. 20 when Jenks came to Bartlesville and swept the Lady Bruins and Bruins.

Broken Arrow will provide a test like always. The Lady Tigers are 4-4 on the year. Bartlesville head girls basketball coach Donnie Martin says he is hoping for a more finished product in the second semester.

Bartlesville checked in at No. 20 in the latest rankings for 6A girls from OSSAARankings.com, the Lady Bruins are 3-3. This week will be an important one for BHS to solidify its footing for Regional seeding, which will be finalized in just three weeks.

Meanwhile the Bartlesville guys are looking to sure up things on offense, as the Bruins take on an undefeated and No. 9 ranked BA club.

Bartlesville still has not scored more than 54 points in a game this year. BHS is 1-5, trying to avoid a three game losing skid going into its own tournament on Thursday. Bartlesville boys coach Clent Stewart talks about working over Winter Break.

The girls will tip off at 6:30 with the boys to follow around 8:00. We will have both those games on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3 also on the Bartlesville Radio App and BartlesvilleRadio.com.

You can also watch them on KWONTV.com.
