Bartlesville Basketball Regional Pairings
The OSSAA released the regional pairings for the 6A boys and girls basketball playoffs on Thursday afternoon. Both Bartlesville teams have played their first round opponents earlier in the sesaon.
The Bartlesville boys will play Putnam City at 6:30 PM in Broken Arrow on Friday, Feb. 27, in the Tiger's Regional.
Winner of the sudden death game between Putnam City and BHS will play the winner of Enid and Broken Arrow on Feb. 28 at 7:00 PM.
6A Boys East Bracket (Bartlesville at the bottom)
Bartlesville played Putnam City in its first game of the sesaon, during the Bixby Invitational Tournament. The boys fell to Putnam City 66-58 in Bixby on Dec. 4.
The BHS girls will get Sand Springs in the first round. The Lady Bruins and Sandites square off on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 PM.
Winner of the sudden death game between Bartlesville and Sand Springs will get the winner of Sapulpa and Jenks on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 1:30 PM.
6A GIrls East Bracket (Bartlesville at the bottom)
We will have a preview of this first round regional game on Tuesday, Feb. 17 when Sand Springs comes to Barltesville for a regular season Frontier Conference game. The two teams met on Jan. 13, when the Lady Sandites beat Bartlesville 45-41.
Sites for the area tournament for both the boys and girls will be neutral and picked by the OSSAA some time after regionals are completed.
