Bartlesville High’s baseball team won their first district game on Monday night at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

BHS blew out Muskogee 8-0. The Bruins struck early with two runs in the first and never looked back

Noah Yearout picked up the win on the mound. He threw six scoreless innings. Yearout gave up three hits, he walked four and struck out seven. Brennan Longacre helped provide the cushion for the Bruins. Longacre’s single in the bottom of the sixth helped extend Bartlesville’s lead.

The Longacre single was a part of a three-run sixth inning that provided Bartlesville with some cushion.

Jone Cone, Easton Hammonds, AJ Archambo and Derek Hill all had multiple hits in the game.

BHS improves to 6-11-1. Bartlesville has won two games in a row.

Bartlesville is back at it on Tuesday evening at Muskogee. Game two of that two-game district set. First pitch at 5:00 PM.

KWON's next broadcast of Bartlesville baseball will be Thursday in a rescheduled home double-header against Moore. First pitch at 4:30.
