Barnsdall Slow Pitch Makes State Again
It's becoming almost an every-year affair for the Barnsdall slow pitch softball team.
The Lady Panthers qualified for state with two wins on Thursday in the Strother Regional, taking the consolation bracket title.
With wins against Ripley, 10-4 and a 2-1 over Hinton, Barnsdall, under head coach Joe Gilbert, is 3A State bound. The Lady Panthers did lose to Strother in game two of the day. T
his is the fourth time in the last six seasons Barnsdall has been to state. The Lady Panthers have been in 2014, 2015, 2017 and now 2019.
