City Council Award Police Vehicle Bid

The Bartlesville City Council approved to authorize City Manager Ed Gordon to execute a memorandum of understanding with FOP Lodge 117 and IAFF Local 200 regarding the terms and conditions pending of a new contract for fiscal year 2016.  City Attorney Jerry Maddux said that part of the proposed contract is no salary increase. 

In other action, the city council awarded Bob Moore Chrylser Dodge Jeep Ram of Tulsa for eight full-size pursuit vehicles for $22,500 each.  Vice-Mayor Dale Copeland said the purchase of these vehicle will replace other police vehicles.  The amount was below budget.
