After spending two hours of deliberations, a Washington County jury found James David Gibson of Ochelata guilty of child sexual abuse, and three counts of sexual abuse.  The jury recommended that Gibson serve life in prison.  According to a court affidavit, a girl told the authorities that during a six-year period, her father has had her perform oral sex or he has had sexual intercourse with her multiple times.  Reportedly, Gibson told the victim not to say anything.  Sentencing is scheduled for May 13th.
