The Nowata County Commissioners met Monday morning in what would be a shorter meeting than usual. There were no important courthouse updates given before Commissioner Timmie Benson announced that the Nowata County Sheriff’s Department received a $100 donation.

The Commissioners next approved a declaration of surplus on courthouse lobby chairs that are to be trashed.

Finally, Nowata County Emergency Manager Laurie Summers gave her update. 

The Nowata County Commissioners will meet again next Monday at 9 am and the meeting is open to the public.
