Indians Back in OKC Wednesday
The Doenges Ford Indians are right back after it on Wednesday night, as the Tribe have a mid-week tune up before an added double-header on Friday.
Bartlesville’s summer baseball team is 12-11-1 on the year following the Glen Winget Tournament this past weekend. The sprint to the finish for the Tribe is in-sight.
The Indians will play regular-season double-headers this week before some tournaments mostly round-out play this summer over the next 2.5 weeks.
The Indians face the Oklahoma Generals on Wednesday evening in Oklahoma D-Bat League play. Bartlesville will try to get back on track in league action, as the Tribe has gone 1-5 during its last six league games.
Offense has again been the major issue for the Indians. Their team batting average is a fine .275 on the season. However, that number shrinks to .242 since Bartlesville returned from its trip to Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Wednesday's twin-bill will take place at Randall College in Moore. A 3:45 first pitch for game one, with game two around 5:45.
We will have both games on KWONTV.com, with game one on Sports Talk 1500 AM and 99.1 FM – KPGM. Game two on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
Indians return home for RE/MAX night at the ballpark with Kevin Lynch on Friday evening - We will have more on that later on this week.
