Clent Stewart Helps K-State TBT Team

A Bartlesville High varsity coach is going to get some offseason coaching work at a national level. Bruin boys’ basketball coach Clent Stewart is going to be an assistant coach on the Kansas State alumni team participating in TBT in Wichita, Kansas next month.
Stewart is listed as one of two assistant coaches behind the Head coach and GM of team “Purple and Black,” which will compete in the Wichita Regional in late-July. The TBT is a 64-team tournament consisting primarily of college alumni teams.
The winning team gets one million dollars to split among its squad.
Stewart fits in. He was a member of Kansas State men’s basketball program from 2004-2008 via Tulsa Union High School. As far as players go on Purple and Black, Jacob Pullen is probably the most recognizable member of the roster.
Stewart has been in the Bartlesville community for more than a decade and will enter his 10th season as Bruin boys’ basketball coach this winter, making him one of the longest-tenured varsity coaches at BHS.
Purple and Black kick off the TBT at Charles Koch Arena against Daguys STL, a Saint Louis alumni squad.
There are teams from KU, Wichita State, Memphis and Temple in the Wichita Regional.
