Bartlesville High has some athletes headed to state, as we are into our first big week of high school sports postseason play across Northeast Oklahoma.

Let’s start with Bartlesville High girl tennis. BHS qualified everyone for state on Monday afternoon during the east-side Regionals yesterday at the Bixby Tennis Center.

The Lady Bruins took second as a team, with all individuals and doubles-pairings finishing in the top-three. Julia McKissick took second at No. 1 singles. Julia Osburn finished third at No. 2 singles. The doubles team of Parker Cox and Ava Kelly took second at No. 1 doubles, while the No. 2 doubles duo of Brook Franks and Bella Gustafson took third.

No rest for BHS, as the Lady Bruins will head to state this weekend at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.
