Incoming Osage Nation seniors had the opportunity to attend an orientation event that the Osage Nation Education Department put together last month in Hominy. The senior class of 2023 was able to gain knowledge in filling out scholarships, college applications, get information regarding financial aid, among other things.

In the two-day event, students participated in various activities to prepare them for what college would be like. Students also crafted a personal statement and collage that stated their interests, hobbies and goals. Students also received information from Northern Oklahoma College, Tulsa Community College and the University of Missouri during the seminar.
