The Doenges Ford Indians split again in Oklahoma Collegiate League play on Tuesday night, as the Tribe won the first but dropped the second of two games at Rogers State University in Claremore.

Bartlesville overwhelmed the Diamond Dawgs with pitching in a 5-1 win. A late surge carried the SWAT Academy over the Indians 8-5 in the nightcap.

In game one it was all about pitching. Kyler Hancock, Bradee Rigdon and Josh Weber combined to throw seven innings of one run ball. They struck out 13 and walked no one. Rigdon carried the most weight, going four strong in the middle of the contest, he struck out eight.

The Indians did enough on offense. Evan McClendon stayed hot to begin the year with this RBI single to put Bartlesville on top for good.

The Dawgs tacked on a single run late to avoid the shutout. Rigdon earned the win on the mound.

The second game would prove to be different, a back and forth affair would end after five innings because of the time limit - In a three-run Bartlesville loss. SWAT Academy scored four runs in the top of the fifth to secure the win. Bartlesville would put its first three on base in the bottom of the fifth, but could not scratch across a run across.

The Indians led by one entering the fifth after a four-run inning of their own in the bottom of the fourth. Kaden Young and McClendon again would come up with the big base knocks.

The Rebels would score their four runs in the fifth on only one hit, five walks and an error. The Indians are 15-7-1 overall and 3-2-1 in Oklahoma Collegiate League play.

The Tribe right back after it against Three Rivers on Wednesday night in a double-header at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.

Two games we will have on KWON and KWONTV.com at 6:00 PM.
