Fresh off clinching a conference title on Saturday, Oklahoma Wesleyan will return to the hardwood on Wednesday with a road trip to Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.

The Eagles are glad to have wrapped up the title ahead of this matchup with the second best team in the KCAC. The Moundbuilders defeated OKWU in overtime early this season for their fifth straight win over Donnie Bostwick’s team. Southwestern also has only fallen once at the Stewart Fieldhouse this season. Bostwick has the Eagles prepared for another close game.

OKWU has already secured an NAIA Tournament and in all likelihood will be a No. 1 seed as well. This game means little more than bragging rights and momentum heading into the postseason.

The Lady Eagles are playing a Southwestern team that is winless in conference play. The women’s team is hoping to improve itself from the No. 8 spot it currently occupies in the conference standings.

Coverage starts at 6 p.m. on KWON AM 1400—FM 93.3, 95.1.
